Jan Betak

CERBET Engineering

Jan Betak, 37, is a designer and owner of CERBET Engineering. In 2011, he graduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Thermal and Process Engineering. In 2015, he defended his Master's degree in Mechanical and Process Engineering again at the Czech Technical University.

He started his career as a project engineer at the Prague-based company for energy-saving heating solutions Regulus, where he was subsequently responsible for the organization's international R&D projects (International R&D Project Manager).

Later, Jan Beták took an important step in his career path when he co-founded CERBET Engineering, a company dedicated to designing and delivering solutions to speed up and streamline processes in the Last Mile. Clients of the talented CERBET engineers are leading European online supermarkets such as Rohlik.cz, Bringmeister.de (now Knuspr.de), Košík.cz (Kolichka.bg), Tesco, DoDo and others. CERBET's projects include analyses of complex system designs to maximize the utilization of the cargo space of delivery vans and transport refrigeration systems for Last Mile logistics facilities in Europe. CERBET's mission is to bring its clients maximum cost savings combined with maintaining 100% quality of their goods.
